Trace monotype is a process that was taught to me at Queensland College of Art by esteemed artist Dr Bill Platz.  In the type of trace monotype used here, I applied oil stick to paper and then etched into the paper, transferring oil onto a separate surface. The oil stick can be supplemented with additional media to create unique works of surprising delicacy. These are one of a kind works, although prints are available on request.
